At the age of 66, Bollywood actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away in Delhi, India.
According to his nephew Nishaan Kaushik, the actor had a heart attack on Thursday morning.
He was a passenger at the time and was brought to the hospital, where the staff reported that he had passed away.
In the Hindi cinema industry, Kaushik worked as an actor, producer, comedian, and screenwriter, among other things.
His big performance was as Calendar, a cook in the 1987 smash Mr. India. His comic timing, for which he would later be famed, was put on display in the role.
In several other movies, like Ram Lakhan, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, and Deewana Mastana, he portrayed noteworthy characters.
In addition, he produced several films, including Tere Naam, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, and Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja.
Kaushik, who was born on April 13th, 1956, attended the National School of Theatre after completing his studies at Delhi University’s Kirori Mal College.
He was active on Twitter and frequently published reflections about his professional life. He tweeted a picture of himself arriving in Mumbai, India, in 1979 to pursue his dream of becoming an actor, and the response to the posting was overwhelming.
In the upcoming historical drama Emergency, Kaushik will make his final appearance on the big screen.
