The Perennial flood which occurred in Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos State, has allegedly swept a Lexus Jeep with four passengers on board. The incident occurred at Oyatoki axis about an hour ago.
Another jeep with three occupants on board was said to be trapped in the same flood but they were able to escape from the jeep. However, the wave of the flood has prevented them from being rescued to a safer location.
An eyewitness, who simply identified himself as James, was reported saying that the unfortunate incident was happening presently in Oko-Oba, Agege where a flood had swept a jeep and Lexus car.
“The car is trapped at a spot and its three occupants have managed to escape from the car but are still trapped in the flood due to the current of the flood.”
At press time, men of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service arrived on the scene.
It has been said that residents in the community have reportedly warned motorists to desist from driving through the road whenever there was heavy rainfall.
