British rapper and actor Justin Clarke-Samuel, widely known by his stage name Ghetts, has admitted responsibility for the death of a young man, Mr. Tamang, in a hit-and-run incident.
The tragic event occurred on October 18 and resulted in the death of Mr. Tamang, who was reportedly his parents’ only child.

According to court details, Ghetts was driving at more than 60mph in a 30mph zone in Ilford, north-east London, when he struck the young Nepali student as he attempted to cross the road. He did not stop after the impact.
The rapper has now pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving, and the court has scheduled his sentencing for February 12, 2026.
