Lagos State is yet to recover from the tragic incident, which claimed six lives, including that of a Copper, where a BRT bus crashed into a train. The incident saw several victims sustain grievous bodily injuries.
The driver of the Lagos State Bus Rapid Transit, Osinbajo Oluwaseun has been Arraigned before an Ikeja High Court, facing 16 counts including involuntary manslaughter.
According to Babajide Martin, the Director of the Public Prosecution, the driver ignored signs warning him of an oncoming train and then negligently rammed into the train killing and injuring several others.
