Bayero University, Kano, has recently expelled 27 students from its institution and rusticated eight others for alleged involvement in examinations misconduct.
This news had been contained in a statement signed by the Director, Directorate of Examinations, Admissions, and Records, Hajia Amina Abdullahi on Sunday, 19 February 2023.
According to the statement, the Senate’s decision was following the Institution’s General Regulations, categories 20, 17 (AI, III, IV, V, VI, VII, and XII) of the University General Regulations.
Additionally, the statement revealed that 22 other students had been sanctioned by the Senate.
