The former president of the United States, Barack Obama listed four Nigerian stars Tems, Burna Boy, Pheelz, and BNXN among his 2022 summer playlist. Obama shared the playlist on his Instagram platform on Tuesday, 26 July.

In a social media post, he made to his official accounts on Instagram and Twitter, he wrote: “Every year, I get excited to share my summer playlist because I learn about so many new artists from your replies—it’s an example of how music really can bring us all together. Here’s what I’ve been listening to this summer. What songs would you add?”

Each year, Obama makes a list of some of his favorite songs from around the world.

Other top artists and musicians featured in his playlist include Beyonce – Break My Soul, Aretha Franklin – Save Me, Prince – Let’s Go Crazy, Lil Yachty – Split/Whole Time, Harry Styles – Music for a Sushi Restaurant, Koffee – Pull Up, among several others.

Tems’ Vibe Out made it to the list along with Burna Boy’s Last Last, and BNXN (formerly known as Buju) featured too with Pheelz with their Finesse bop.
