Canadian superstar Celine Dion is set to make a highly anticipated return to the stage with a series of performances in Paris, following her ongoing health battle.

The concert residency will take place at La Défense Arena from September 12 to October 14, marking her first major live shows since stepping back due to illness.

Dion had previously revealed in December 2022 that she was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological disorder that leads to muscle stiffness, spasms, and heightened sensitivity to stimuli. The condition forced her to cancel her tour in 2023 as she focused on recovery.

In a recent Instagram video shared to mark her 58th birthday, the singer gave fans an encouraging update on her health and recovery progress.

“I want to let you know that I am doing great, managing my health. I’m feeling good, I’m singing again, even doing a little bit of dancing,” she said.

She also expressed deep appreciation to fans who stood by her during her difficult moments.

“Over the last few years, every day that came by, I felt your prayers and support. Your kindness and love. Even in my most difficult times, you were there for me. You’ve helped me in ways that I can’t even describe. I am truly so fortunate to have your support. I have missed you so much,” she said.

Looking ahead to her return, Dion described the upcoming shows as a special milestone and an emotional reunion with her audience.

“This year, I am getting the best gift of my life. I am getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris. Beginning in September this year. I am so happy, I am so ready to do this. I am feeling good and strong,” she said.
