Canadian singer and song writer Celine Dion was forced to come out and state that her song “My Heart Will Go On “, was played at a campaign rally for former US president Donald Trump alongside JD Vance in Montana without her consent. From a statement by Dion’s side, it showed that the singer and her record company never gave their permission for the song to be used by Trump.
The statement also clarified that the song was used without her permission and she dissociates herself from its messages.
The statement ended with ‘.. And really, that song?’, which further verified that the team did not approve of the situation.
