Chelsea FC and Manchester City both made it to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday after exciting wins in the fifth round. Chelsea got past a tough fight from Wrexham A.F.C.They ended up winning 4–2 after extra time in a tense match at the Racecourse Ground.
The Championship team, owned by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, took the lead twice in an exciting match. Sam Smith put Wrexham ahead in the 18th minute, calmly finishing off a long pass from Callum Doyle. Chelsea managed to tie the game right before halftime when their goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo accidentally scored an own goal.

Doyle put Wrexham back in front in the 78th minute, but Josh Acheampong quickly leveled the score. The match took a turn in stoppage time when George Dobson got sent off after a VAR review.
In extra time, Alejandro Garnacho scored with a volley to put Chelsea in the lead, and then Joao Pedro wrapped things up with a late fourth goal.
Manchester City managed to beat Newcastle United 3–1 at St James’ Park, even though they changed 10 players in their starting lineup.
Newcastle got ahead first when Harvey Barnes scored off a pass from Sandro Tonali. The city team got back on level terms in a bit of an unexpected way when Savinho flicked a cross from Jeremy Doku into the goal.
Omar Marmoush scored two goals in the second half to help Pep Guardiola’s team grab the win. Earlier, Arsenal moved forward by beating Mansfield Town 2–1, keeping their chances for a historic quadruple alive this season.
