A certain Pastor of one ‘The Stripe of Jesus Christ Church’ David Ihejirika was Arraigned before an Ojo Magistrate Court in Lagos State on Friday for allegedly defrauding a woman of N1.1m promising her that he would perform a ‘spiritual work’ that will make her husband return to her.
He was charged with Obtaining Money by False Pretence as the representation is false and he could not fulfill the promise thereby stealing the money of the woman. The Prosecutor further established that the conduct of the accused contravened sec 168, 287, and 314 of the criminal law of Lagos State 2015.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was admitted on bail of N500,000 With two surgeries of the sum.
