A young car enthusiast who recently went viral after capturing footage of Pastor Paul Adefarasin’s car has received a donation of N350,000 from sympathetic Nigerians who were touched by his story.
The donation drive was championed by media personality Daddy Freeze, leader of the “#FreeNation” and “Free the Sheeple” movement.
He disclosed the successful fundraiser on his Instagram page, explaining that the contribution came from concerned followers who wanted to uplift the young man.
During an Instagram Live session with the car spotter, Daddy Freeze was visibly disturbed when he discovered that the young man couldn’t turn on his camera due to lack of electricity at home.
Reacting with concern, he assured the boy of immediate help, saying he deserved to be encouraged.
Though his name has not been made public, the young man shared that financial struggles forced him to end his education after secondary school. Having studied commercial subjects, he turned his passion to car spotting—often spending several hours by the roadside each day to film high-end vehicles.
His big break came when he recorded a video showing Pastor Adefarasin’s black Range Rover, which went viral online. The clip sparked heated discussions, with many claiming it captured the pastor appearing to handle a firearm.
Motivated by the attention the video brought and the boy’s difficult situation, Daddy Freeze called on his online community to lend a helping hand.
The result was a N350,000 donation, aimed at supporting the young man’s passion and improving his living conditions.
