Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze has publicly disagreed with Grace Ayotomide Labinjoh, the mother of Anu Adeleke, amid the ongoing DNA dispute involving music star Davido.
The disagreement followed Daddy Freeze’s comments on the matter, where he claimed that Davido was not Anu’s father after reviewing one of the DNA test results allegedly linked to the case.
In response, Anu’s mother pushed back strongly, sharing images of what she said was the only DNA test conducted in 2014. She described the test as fake, arguing that proper procedures were not followed since no swab was taken and only blood samples were collected.

Addressing Daddy Freeze directly, she insisted that there was no evidence of five DNA tests as claimed and denied choosing any hospital for the procedure. According to her, Davido’s father selected the laboratory and covered the cost.
She wrote, “Daddy Freeze, we will request another test because the only DNA test that was done was altered in September 2014. There was no DNA swab. They took Anu’s blood, and Davido’s blood was drawn separately in a room in which we were not allowed to enter. The ONLY DNA TEST he did is what you saw. Post it! The false negative test with a big bag of money.
“There is no record of 5 DNA tests anywhere, and I never picked any hospital. Dr Adeleke picked the hospital lab and paid for it. It is not ours. Last year, they said it was two. Today it’s 5. Stop using the power of influence to brainwash Nigerians to believe lies. Money cannot buy everything. Our family lawyer, who passed away, initiated the test with Dr Adeleke. We did not choose any location. We are not familiar with Lagos test centres.”
Reacting to her statement, Daddy Freeze advised her to focus on raising her daughter independently and prioritizing her success. He questioned whether she would have hesitated to raise the child alone if the father were deceased.
He also cautioned her against continuing the matter on social media, stressing that Davido could not be compelled to undergo another DNA test and warning of possible legal consequences.
Daddy Freeze said, “You are just like a daughter to me because your father was my lecturer. I will advise you to raise this child yourself and do everything to make sure she becomes successful. If the father is de@d, will you not raise her? Take this issue off social media, because nobody can force Davido to take a DNA test. He can file that you are harassing!ng him and the government will give you a restraining order.
“You can also go legal if you want. I will recommend that you go to Femi Falana or Afe Babalola for pro bono services. By the way, you coming on the social media to tell the world that you had your daughter out of a nightstand doesn’t look good on you, my dear sister. You were a waitress, and you claim a man approached you for s*x and you agreed just like that, it is not good.”
The controversy began earlier this week after Anu Adeleke took to Instagram to request a DNA test to confirm her identity, revealing that she had suffered years of bullying and emotional distress due to classmates questioning her claim of being Davido’s daughter.
Davido responded by denying paternity, stating that he had undergone five DNA tests, all of which reportedly returned negative results. He said he selected three hospitals for the tests while Anu’s representatives chose two, with all producing the same outcome. The singer also threatened legal action against Anu’s mother, insisting she should be held accountable.
In a separate response, Anu accused the singer of bullying her, using abusive language and threatening to have her mother locked up. She also claimed Davido had never met her mother despite publicly insulting her and changing his account of the number of DNA tests conducted.
Anu’s mother later shared screenshots of chats between Anu and Davido, alleging that he ignored her for years because he believed he had met a prostitute at a nightclub in Ibadan. She further appealed to the United States State Department to liaise with officials in Lagos or Abuja to supervise an independent and transparent DNA test.
The situation has continued to draw public attention, with differing narratives from all sides keeping the paternity dispute firmly in the spotlight.
