Nigerian singer Darkoo recently opened up on the nature of her relationship with fellow singer, Ayra Starr and it is absolutely more than just professional acquaintances. While recently being the guest on the Uncut Podcast, Darkoo referred to Ayra Starr more as a sister than a coworker.
“We are very alike, but what I really love about her is that she is so respectful. You can just tell that she is a proper Naija girl.” She stated.
Darkoo also stressed the fact that there are certain lines that should not be crossed, especially when it comes to friendships among people in the same field.
She believes that maintaining some distance in friendships is important to avoid becoming too familiar, which can sometimes lead to a lack of respect.
