In a tragic incident, six people were killed and numerous others abducted during a raid by armed men, suspected to be terrorists, in a village in the Gwadabawa Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
Ahmed Rufa’i, the Public Relations Officer of the Police Command in Sokoto, confirmed the attack, stating that six bodies have been recovered so far. However, the exact number of abducted persons remains unknown.
