Dele Momodu Castigates Tinubu’s Ministerial List

Dele Momodu, a Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial team.

In Momodu’s opinion, Tinubu’s ministerial list was worse than his predecessor’s, ex-President Muhammadu Buhari’s selection.

Momodu had also revealed that a few of Tinubu’s ministers were obscure unlike what was obtainable in the past.

The PDP chieftain had made this revelation while appearing on the latest edition of: Podcast, Mic On.

Momodu had highlighted that former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai was the same version of himself when he was a minister under the PDP banner.

In Momodu’s words:
“For any leader to triumph, he must thoroughly vet his team and what I’m seeing from Tinubu’s team is worse than Buhari’s team.

“I expected a star-studded cabinet. I like to remember the sweet memories of Ibrahim Babangida’s cabinet in the good old days.”

“Everyone remembers those cabinet members till today, most of the people appointed now, I do not know them. Under Babangida’s rule, I remember Akinyele, Bolaji Akinyemi, Bolasodun Ajibola, Tai Solarin, Wole Soyinka.”

“You can’t say the same for today, somebody is on her way to screen for the ministerial position and you remove her. It’s disgraceful. It means you did not do your due diligence before nominating people.”
