American hip-hop icon Eminem has ignited controversy by dissing fellow rappers Kanye West (aka Ye), Kendrick Lamar, and embattled music executive Diddy on his latest album, ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coupe de Grâce).’
In a track titled ‘Anti-Christ,’ Eminem vows to “whoop his haters’ asses” better than Diddy, who is currently facing several sexual harassment allegations, including claims of gay sex trafficking. “Next idiot that asks me is gettin’ his ass beat worse than Diddy did,” he raps.
Eminem also addresses Kanye West in ‘Anti-Christ,’ expressing his desire not to “fall off” like Ye. “Say they wish that I wasn’t so angry, don’t wanna see me go off the deep end like Ye, ayy,” he raps.
In another track titled ‘Renaissance,’ Eminem takes a swipe at Kendrick Lamar, who is currently embroiled in a hip-hop beef with Drake. He criticizes Lamar’s last album, ‘Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers,’ claiming it lacks hits. “Cause I don’t see no fans, all I see’s a bunch of complainers/’Kendrick’s album was cool, but it didn’t have any bangers,” Em raps.
As of now, Diddy, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar have not responded to Eminem’s jabs on his new album.
