You see the adage that goes like this “what a man can do a woman can do better” is not wrong at all as the Super Falcons secured their ticket to the World Cup with a 1- 0 win after a victorious defeat of the Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon in Casablanca. A feat the Super Eagles and their Male counterparts failed to achieve.

World football’s governing body FIFA congratulated the Super Falcons on their ninth qualification for the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia, New Zealand.

FIFA wrote on Twitter: “Nine in a row. 🔥

You love to see it. 🇳🇬.

“Congratulations @NGSuper_Falcons!”

Rasheedat Ajibade, the woman of the match, netted the ball against the goal post after a pass from Ifeoma Onumonu. The fight isn’t over yet as the Super Falcons meet the Moroccan team in the semifinals on Sunday.

Team Bayana Bayana, our strong competitor, also secured their ticket to the World Cup with a 1-0 win over Tunisia.

Our prayers are with Super Falcons, let’s bring this trophy home for the tenth time
