Nigerians celebrated the Super Falcons’ victorious victory over Cameroon yesterday. Gabriel Zabo Cameron’s head coach insists the Super Falcons were no better than his side after his side’s defeat.
Rasheedat Ajibade saved the Super Falcon’s face by scoring the winning goal in the 58th minute that gave the Super Falcons victory over the indomitable lioness of Cameroon. According to Zabo, his team did their best in yesterday’s match and the Super Falcons only won based on their experience.
“The game was won on fine details. They weren’t stronger than us, but they used their experience from the big competitions,” Zabo is quoted as said by CAFonline.
“And in this game, when it comes to using their experience, they are unbeatable.”
It is safe to say that the Cameron coach is a tenacious and resilient man as he refused to admit the mistake of his team losing yesterday’s game to the referee’s decision but his hopes are high as there is one more Chance that his team can qualify for the Women’s World Cup as they play Botswana on Thursday.
“It’s not all over yet, we still have a chance to qualify for the World Championship this Sunday. My players showed tonight with their level of play that they like to be globalists,” said Zabo.
