Flamingos Land in India, For the U-17 Women’s World cup Game.

The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup games are to begin next week, the Flamingos have already arrived and settled fine in India.

The players and officials jetted out of Kocaeli, where they participated in two friendly games to test their strength for the world cup game. They defeated the Galatasary Ladies 3-1 and lost to Fenerbahce.

The supper falcons’ Twitter handle announced their arrival in India

Hello India! Our sisters, Flamingos have arrived in Goa for #U17WWC after a five-hour stopover in Mumbai.”

The Group stages start next week, as The flamingos are to Clash with Germany in the opening games of the tournament. They share the same category as Chile and New Zealand.

We hope our girls will make us proud, as the U-20 Women’s World Cup games ended with Nigeria crashing out of the quarter-finals after a 2-0 defeat by the Netherlands, after winning all their group fixtures,  Spain Later emerged as champions of the U-17 Women’s World Cup Games. Our senior National team the super Falcons could not also bring the AFCON cup home, as they finished fourth with the Bayana Bayana team of South Africa emerging as champions. 

There is an earnest expectation that our girls will make us proud in India.
