According to Iraqi news reports, on Saturday night, Mosul in northern Iraq heard the sound of numerous enormous explosions.
According to the Sabereen News Telegram channel, Mosul, Iraq, heard four explosions.
The report further stated that these explosions happened at the Zelikan military facility, which is situated in the “Bashiqa” region. The Turkish army is stationed at this military installation.
Other sources claimed that this Mosul military facility was emitting heavy smoke. Four Grad rockets were fired against the Turkish military base, according to a later report from the Sabereen News Telegram Channel.
However, during the past few months, unidentified parties have consistently targeted Turkish military outposts in northern Iraq with rocket and drone attacks.
