Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has expressed confidence that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will dominate the upcoming local government elections, pointing to his administration’s achievements over the past five years as evidence of the opposition’s declining influence.

In a statement from his Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Abiodun emphasized that the APC’s strong candidates make it the party to beat across all 20 Local Government Areas in Ogun. He credited his administration for fostering a politically stable environment where opposition parties can operate without intimidation.

“The quality of our candidates and the significant impact we’ve made in people’s lives make the APC the frontrunner,” Abiodun stated. “Our success isn’t due to physical intimidation but rather to visible projects, innovative ideas, and financial prudence that set us apart from other states.”

The governor urged APC members to stay committed and unified to ensure a decisive victory on November 16, building on the party’s achievements of the past five years.
