Pep Guardiola, is excited over his team’s 3-0 win against Wolves in Saturday’s match.
Jack Grealish, Mancity’s Midfielder scored the first goal for the premier league Champions, putting them in the lead, Erling Haaland ( goal machine) also scored making it 2-0, and Phil Fiden added another goal to make it 3-0.
Speaking on the team’s victory, Guardiola said that, the game started quite well for them, as the players were very fast and calculative. He also admitted that Wolves did give them a tough time.
Guardiola told BT Sport: “The game started really well for us with the two goals and the red card and after the Champions League to come here at 12:30 with the quality they have, they can keep the ball and transitions are fast, it was an incredible victory.
“We struggled a lot after half-time until Phil’s [Foden] goal so a lot of credit to Wolves.”
The win saw them take the top position from Arsenal, as Man City currently sits top of the EPL table, with 17 points closely followed by Arsenal with 15 points.
