Several yet-to-be-identified gunmen on Thursday night, March 16, stormed the family house of the Oyo State All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
At the time of writing this report, several persons were reportedly injured during the attack.
According to reports, the attackers had arrived at the house in about 10 Toyota Hilux vehicles with covered number plates a few minutes past 8: 00p.m and an anonymous survivor had remarked that although he had narrowly escaped death, he had sustained several injuries as he had run for safety.
Meanwhile, Senator Folarin’s media aide, Com. Y. S. O. Olaniyi had on Friday morning confirmed the attack, saying that a group of armed men had attacked the ancestral home of Senator Teslim Folarin with the sole aim to terminate his life.
