Raffaele Ametrano, a former Napoli player has hailed Victor Osimhen as the strongest striker in Napoli.

Ametrano made this statement in a Radio talk while reviewing Napoli’s strength ahead of their match against Juventus.

According to him, they have Osimhen who is currently their strongest striker, he further described him as a persistent player who will work you out to the extent that you’ll focus, Osimhen has made it difficult for players to mark him.

Ametrano further said that if Osimhen continues this way he’ll score a lot more goals between now and the end of the season.

“In front, they have the strongest center forward in our league, Victor Osimhen. He is a player who tires you to such an extent that you lose the decisive meter,” Ametrano said.

The 49-year-old continued, “even in yesterday’s goal he had a 10/15 meter dash ahead of the defender. It’s not easy to mark Osimhen.”

“He arrives with impressive clarity in the penalty area with the work he manages to do. If he manages to have physical and mental continuity he will score a lot of goals between now and the end,” Ametrano continued.

If we can recall, Osimhen was celebrated by Napoli for scoring his 10th goal for the
season, he currently is the top goal scorer in Serie A and a player that most clubs in the EPL will love to have.
