Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci who attempted to break Lata Tando’s Guinness World Record of longest cooking hours by an individual, after surpassing Tando’s 87 hours and 45 minutes, then proceeded to make it 100 hours.
However, Hilda Baci is yet to be Certified by the Guinness World Record, and Nigerians are beginning to get worried, seeing that there are plans from some chefs to break Hilda’s record.
However, Hilda has explained the reason why she is yet to be Certified In a video, according that her, they are still uploading the video evidence on the Guinness portal for verification by Guinness, the file is really large so they are trying to upload it on time.
She further thanked her fans for the Support they showed her, as it is overwhelming and mind-blowing
“2 days in uploading evidence footage for Guinness world record approval. 100 hours file is extremely large. We are trying to do this in record time. “We are honestly working round the clock trying to upload evidence on the Guinness portal. I also want to thank everyone for their love and support. I have cried so much ’cause it’s honestly overwhelming.”
Nigerians brought in all the support and energy for Hilda Baci’s Cook à thon, which lasted for 100 hours, Nigerians displayed the true spirit of unity as they cheered and cheered from when she put on the gas cooker to when she put it off.
Although there have been threats from other chefs across other African countries to break Hilda Baci’s record, a record that is still yet to be certified. Nigerians are eagerly waiting to celebrate the chef when she gets Certified.
