Kaka Igbokwe, former manager of Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba, has confirmed that the singer was indeed arrested in London following a heated confrontation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.
Reports had circulated after 2baba failed to appear for a scheduled concert on October 2, 2025, during his UK tour — a disappearance that fuelled speculation that he had been taken into custody after an altercation with Natasha, who also serves as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.

Kaka, son of late music legend Christy Essien-Igbokwe, validated the rumours during an Instagram Live session with Daddy Freeze on Monday evening.
According to him, “everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true.”
While recounting the incident, Kaka — who was part of the London tour team and travelled on the same flight — explained that the disagreement began shortly after they arrived at the airport. He said Natasha became upset because she felt 2baba walked off with fans who escorted him into a nearby shop, leaving her behind.
Kaka added that the moment 2baba realised she was no longer with him, he rushed back to meet her, but tensions had already escalated. Natasha confronted him publicly, and the situation intensified to the point where security officers intervened, leading to the singer’s arrest and handcuffing.
A video capturing the arrest, shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, reignited discussions across social media, drawing mixed reactions from fans and critics alike.
