Nigerian disc jockey Rachel Oluwabukola Martins, popularly known as DJ Dimple Nipple, has dismissed claims that she was hospitalised after allegedly engaging in a physical altercation with a man at a gym.
The speculation began after a TikTok user, @officialchampion01, shared a video narrating an incident he claimed occurred at a fitness centre.
According to him, a woman working out in the boxing section reportedly challenged a man to a fight, threw the first punch, and was struck back, leading to her being rushed to the hospital.

Although no name was mentioned, social media users quickly linked the account to DJ Dimple, who frequently posts videos of her boxing workouts online. The rumours gained further traction after an X user, @KachySZN, alleged that the disc jockey was beaten until she passed out.
“Dem beat dj dimple to stupor until she fainted she go Dey form for where man Dey because you get big body,” he wrote.
Reacting via her Snapchat story, DJ Dimple strongly refuted the claims, revealing that she had received numerous calls and messages from concerned friends and followers.
She explained that although she typically ignores online gossip, the widespread nature of the rumour forced her to address it. The DJ also cautioned against spreading false information, accusing some social media users of circulating unverified stories for engagement and financial gain.
“So I am really not the type to care about anything being said about me, but stop spreading lies about me. I have been getting messages from my friends and my followers online about a post on Twitter that I was beaten up at the gym,” she said.
“The most annoying thing about people on that app is that they do anything to get $2 from Elon Musk, but please stop spreading lies about me. I know you wish the worst for me, but whatever you wish me, I wish you times a hundredfold.
“The most annoying thing about that X app is that it is so useless that they verify people for any account. Imagine the nonsense. So please, stop spreading lies about me. I am not a troublesome person, I love my peace so much.”
She concluded by urging the public to desist from promoting false narratives and respect her privacy.
