Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has credited his staying power in the music scene to sheer resilience.
The Afrofusion star, in a chat with NSTV, opened up about the emotional weight behind his upcoming project, No Sign of Weakness, set to drop on July 11, 2025, under Atlantic Records, Spaceship, and Bad Habit.
Burna Boy revealed that despite facing moments that could have broken him, he refused to let those struggles define or defeat him.
“I have had the most reasons to not exist anymore, but I have shown no sign of weakness,” he said. “That’s what this album is saying; through everything, no sign of weakness will be shown. That is what I want everyone coming after me to do, show no sign of weakness.”
No Sign of Weakness will be Burna Boy’s eighth studio album, further extending his run as one of Africa’s most consistent and globally celebrated artists.
