After 12 years in Old Trafford, Manchester United player Phil Jonas has decided to depart from the club, Phil Jonas could not do much for Manchester United due to his constant injuries.
In an emotional letter, which he penned down to United, he emphasized his inability to do more for the club.
According to him, it’s an honor playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, as he felt incredible any time he wears the United jersey.
However he regrets not playing more for the club, and for the many squads he has played alongside, though it was not his fault, as he did everything he could to remain fit and that includes obeying the doctor’s instruction.
“My time at United has been nothing short of incredible,” Jones stated in the letter.
“To wear this shirt just once. To wear this badge and represent everyone associated with it was an honor.”
“I wish I could have played more,’’ he added. “I wish I could have given more to the many squads I played alongside.”
“I will say from the bottom of my heart, I did everything I could. I did everything the medical team asked of me.”
