Nigerian national player, Kelechi Iheanacho is still in a celebratory mood over Leicester’s win at the preseason-friendly games with Derby County. A new season is almost upon us in the world of football, every club is currently undergoing preseason-friendly games to see how well prepared they are for the new season.
In the first half of the game, none of the teams scored. Our star boy Iheanacho netted the ball into the goal at the start of the second half for Leicester City. Tom Barkhuizen equalized for Derby County 10 minutes later.
Paterson Daka scored again making it 2-1, Callum wright crowned everything by scoring another goal for Leicester City making it 3-1. An excited Iheanacho celebrated their win with the caption ” Derby win in Derby”.
Iheanacho has done pretty well for himself at Leicester City, with five goals to his name, and seven assists in 26 premier league appearances in the 2021/22 season. In other competitions, he has scored eight goals and nine assists. Coming down to Nigeria, Iheanacho has scored 11 goals and 12 assists in 42 games for Super Eagles.
