Celebrity barman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has revealed his disappointment over missing the wedding of Afrobeat star Davido and his fiancée Chioma, held in the United States on Saturday.
The celebrated party king shared that he was unable to attend because his application for a U.S. visa was denied.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, he described waking up with “mixed feelings,” happy for the couple but saddened by his absence.
He wrote: “Woke up this morning with mixed feelings, I’m happy and I’m still sad at the same time… You can clearly see how disappointed & hurt the world is to see me absent at my best friend’s wedding. You need to give me access to get my fat ass into America. Well, delay is never denial, CP is still hopeful.”
Though Chief Priest couldn’t be there in person, he revealed that his wife attended the ceremony on his behalf.
He concluded his message with another plea to the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria: “I’m in again next week, please give me access to the greatest country in the world. This pain is really paining.”
