The Federal Capital Territory Administration, -FCTA, has announced that the owners of 149 impounded vehicles, 100 tricycles and motorcycles in the capitals city will make an appearance before a mobile court for varying degrees of traffic offences.

Dr Abdulateef Bello, the Director, FCTA Directorate of Road Traffic Services, aka Vehicles Inspection Officers, VIO, had made this disclosure in Abuja on Friday, September 22, after critically assessing the impounded vehicles.

Mr Bello who visited some of the VIO Commands where the impounded vehicles, tricycles and motorcycles were kept, had announced that the owners would pay dearly for their transgressions.

The offences included parking in unauthorized areas, driving against traffic, and driving unregistered and unpainted taxis as well as illegal motor parks.
