It’s just a day to the February 25th Presidential Elections, and the Independent Electoral Commission has started distributing sensitive materials to each state and its local government. The Independent Electoral Commission has distributed sensitive election materials to 33 LGs of Oyo State.
To ensure a free and fair policy, the distribution which took place at the Central Bank Branch in Ibadan was done in the presence of representatives of the various political parties with tight Security.
This exercise showed that INEC is ready and prepared for the Saturday elections. According to Adeniran Tella, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, the exercise commenced at 2 am. He said that these materials will be redistributed to the various polling units in the state, he also assured the People of Oyo State of a free and fair election in each poll.
