The Lagos State Police Command has begun investigations, to determine the true circumstances surrounding the death of the former Chief Executive Officer of Konga, Nick Imudia, who had allegedly died by suicide at his home in Lekki, Lagos State.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, had confirmed the development after it became public knowledge that Imudia, had in an evident attempt to take his life, purportedly jumped from the balcony of his residence.

According to reports, Imudia, aged 45 at the time of death, had contacted his United States-based brother, and gave him instructions on how to apportion his wealth.

The businessman had also reportedly contacted his young daughter and informed her that he would always be there for her.

After making the calls, Imudia, who had been the CEO of D.light, a leading innovator in residential solar energy solutions, then allegedly went to the balcony of his apartment on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, and jumped down from there.

It’s been claimed that the impact of his body hitting the ground had claimed his life

Imudia, a business executive and technology leader, had been born on April 28, 1979, in the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.

More details to come….
