Renowned skit maker and content creator, Nons Miraj, has revealed a major turning point in her career that led her to abandon her earlier style of content and take a bold financial risk in pursuit of a new path.

Speaking in an interview with Egungun of Lagos, which surfaced on X on Saturday, Nons Miraj shared how her content journey, which began in 2017, has evolved over the years.

She disclosed that her decision to stop portraying a witch character in her skits was influenced by both financial reasons and how the role affected her image.

“I’ve been creating content since 2017. I stopped creating witch content because it wasn’t giving me enough money and people were thinking I was old,” she said.

The comedian added that the perception her skits created about her age made her reassess her direction.

“I’m supposed to be enjoying my life but I said no,” she added.

In a bid to refresh her brand and take on new creative challenges, Nons Miraj said she poured a huge sum into a fresh project.

“So I invested N200m into a project. I’m taking the risk to see how far this content would go,” she stated.

With this bold move, the actress and content creator signals a new phase in her career, embracing change and innovation in the fast-paced world of digital entertainment.
