Liverpool suffered a humiliating defeat to Leeds United in Saturday premier league game at Saturday’s premier league game at Anfield. This is humiliating for Liverpool as they also lost to Nottingham Forest last weekend.

Rodrigo scored the first goal for Leeds putting Leeds ahead, four minutes later Mohamed Salah equalized for Liverpool after receiving a pass from Andy Robertson.

Cresencio Summerville led Leeds Victory in the match after he fired a late strike. Liverpool has lost back-to-back to teams sitting in the Relegation zone.

Speaking on his players’ Performance, Klopp said that they started the match quite well, as they were able to equalize when Leeds scored, but the inability to maximize chances, cost them the win their defense was a bit weak, that was why Leeds were able to score the second goal.

Klopp also said that it could be that the players were tired, as a result of being overplayed.

“We started well, and then bam, we are 1-0 down after a crazy situation,” Klopp said. We fought back, we scored a deserved equalizer, and played an okay first half against a good side.”

“This kind of decision-making doesn’t come easy to us at this moment. At 1-1, we had some massive chances, but the biggest disappointment of the game is how we defended for the second goal. That shouldn’t happen.”

“Maybe some players are overplayed, Harvey [Elliott] has been exceptional for us this season. He had a good start but couldn’t keep it going,” he added.

Liverpool is to face Osimhen’s Napoli in the final champions league group game on Tuesday.
