Priscilla Ojo, daughter of popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has returned to Nigeria with her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, and their newborn son, Rakeem.

Their homecoming was marked by a lavish celebration organized by Iyabo Ojo, complete with traditional drummers, singing, and dancing.

A heartwarming video shared on Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram page on Tuesday, captioned “Welcome to Nigeria #rakeem_mk”, showed family and friends gathered to celebrate the young couple’s arrival. Priscilla, visibly emotional, appeared pleasantly surprised as she entered the lively scene, while her husband, Juma Jux, proudly held baby Rakeem in his arms.

Joining in the joyous occasion, entrepreneur and Priscilla’s godmother, Chioma Ikokwu, better known as Chioma GoodHair, expressed her excitement in the comment section, writing:

“My prince is here.”

She also shared in her Instagram story how she received the news from Priscilla, saying:

“Priscilla called me in America and said, ‘Godmama, I’m bringing your godson to you in Lagos,’ and I said yes!”

The family’s return to Nigeria comes shortly after an elaborate 40-day celebration and naming ceremony for baby Rakeem, which took place earlier this month in Tanzania. Videos from the event captured the couple welcoming guests with smiles, as Juma Jux danced energetically to the rhythm of traditional drums.

Priscilla also shared snippets of their journey from Tanzania to Nigeria via her Instagram stories, where she thanked her mother and godmother for their love and support. She wrote:

“Rakeem is lucky. Thank you, Glamma and Godmother #iyaboojofespris and #chiomagoodhair.”

Priscilla Ojo gave birth to her baby boy on August 24, 2025, in Canada. Following the delivery, she and her husband returned to Tanzania, where they were honoured with a grand reception.

The Lagos celebration marks baby Rakeem’s first visit to Nigeria—a homecoming filled with music, laughter, and pure family joy.
