Mark Bellingham, father of England stars Jude and Jobe, scored seven goals as England’s Over-50s team hammered the Republic of Ireland 13-1 in Cambridgeshire on Sunday.
The ex non-league man then scored a hat-trick in the first half to leave England 7-0 up at the break.
Bellingham added his seventh after the restart as England Veterans completed an impressive tournament with another goal-fest.
The other goals were scored by Alex Sykes, Kevin Marsden, Richard Vercesi and Paul Betson, when we finished comfortably in the end.
Bellingham celebrated turning 50 this year after a 17-year non-league career in 22 different clubs. He gained a reputation as a prolific scorer before being capped at veteran’s level by England.

His children have had top-tier success, with Jude at Real Madrid and Jobe for Borussia Dortmund.
Although the brothers established their careers in professional football, their father showed he still has the touch with seven goals to his name.
