Austin Eguaveon, former Super Eagles coach has commended the super Falcons for their brilliant and enhancing performance at WAFCON 22, despite coming fourth at the WAFCON game. It’s painful, as the super Falcons did not qualify for finals, and yet they didn’t even get third place at yesterday’s match with the Copper queens of Zambia.
Well, we have a consolation, as we qualified for the 2023 women’s world cup held in Australia, New Zealand.
Eguaveon further praised the team’s hard work they’ve displayed at the current WAFCON games 22.
” Super Falcons, keep your heads up high. This is a very young team that would continue to grow. There were a lot of brilliant performances on display in Morocco. Massive well done, on qualification for our Ninth straight FIFA World cup.”
Our girls tried their best, but they need to try harder as other African teams are coming up and trying hard to displace them.
