Award-winning Filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan revealed preparations for the Anikulapo series on his Instagram page on Sunday, 19th of March.
“It is official that the Anikulapo series is happening,
Anikulapo the 2022 Epic Fantasy film produced by Kunle Afolayan and distributed by Netflix was widely appreciated by viewers in Africa as it largely portrayed the Yoruba culture, it was shot in Ibadan and Oyo state, and the storyline sparked a serious debate on social media, some people even compared the film to that Tyler Perry’s 2018 masterpiece “Acrimony”
Nigerians will be excited about the news, as viewers’ curiosity as to what became of Saro and Arolake will be satisfied.
