Hon. Bago won in Chanchaga, Bosso, Lapai, Bida, Tafa, Gurara, Paikoro, Suleja, and Katcha, according to results tallied at the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, State headquarters in Minna at around 9:48 p.m. by the State Returning Officer, Professor Clement Allawa.
Together with Magama, Rafi, Kontagora, Agaie, Mariga, Mokwa, Wushishi, and Borgu, the APC candidate also won the LGs in those areas.
Alh. Isa Liman Kantigi, the PDP candidate, won in the five local governments of Edati, Munya, Gbako, Lavun, and Agwara.
Out of the 23 Local Government Areas that were revealed on Sunday night, he has already won 17 of them.
Alh Isah Liman Kantigi, a candidate for governor from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), received five LGs.
Prior to postponing collation till today, Monday, at 9 am, the State Returning Officer stated that results from three other LGs were still anticipated.
Mashegu, Rijau, and Shiroro are the other three LGs whose results are still pending.
There are 25 local government areas in Niger State.
