Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has finally reacted to explosive allegations of homosexuality against his person that have virally circulated online. A popular blog recently listed him among other Nigerian celebrities and accused him of engaging in homosexual activities.
As soon as the rumor gained momentum, the fans thronged Remi’s social media accounts in droves, asking him to clarify the situation. On Monday, the actor made it emphatically clear on his Instagram page that he had zero tolerance for negativity and would not further the ongoing speculations.
“This page is for love, light, and good vibes,” Remi said matter-of-factly. “I’m not desperate for followers or engagement. If you come with darkness and negativity from a blog to my page, DM or phone, I will block you. Be it a friend, fan, or family.”
He further emphasized the importance of protecting his mental space, saying, “I respect my space and energy TREMENDOUSLY, that’s why I don’t see all this nonsense normally. My boundaries are very clear—love, light, and positivity.”
Interestingly, many of his fans have stood by him, dismissing the allegations as baseless rumors meant to tarnish his image.
