Senator Abubakar Kyari, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Deputy National Chairman (North), has taken over the party’s National Working Committee, NWC.
Kyari’s takeover has officially confirmed the resignation of the APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu over the past weekend.
Recall that Adamu had tendered his resignation to the party’s National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore.
At around 10:40 am on Monday, July 16 morning, the Deputy National Chairman had led a team of seven NWC members to a meeting in his office.
Also, Kyari had parked his car in the slot reserved solely for the National Chairman.
