The Office of Civic Engagement, Lagos State Government, has put together, a one-day sensitization program for special advisers, commissioners and permanent secretaries of various ministries, agencies, and departments across the state.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Civic Engagement, Aderemi Adebowale, announced an event held recently at the Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.
According to a statement issued by the state government, Adebowale stated that to have an all-inclusive government in the state, a conscious effort had to be made to establish, deepen and sustain the government mode of engagement and communication with various stakeholders, therefore, there was the need for a more interactive Lagos State Citizens Gate 2.0 App.
According to her, the implementation of the Citizens’ Gate 2.0 platform in all MDAs in the state was a vital step towards encouraging transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement in government.
