The original Issakaba, released in 2001, was a groundbreaking action film that told the story of the Bakassi Boys, a vigilante group fighting against crime in their community. The film was a huge hit, and it’s no surprise that fans are excited about the sequel.

The good news was announced on Instagram by actor Sam Dede, who played the lead role in the original film. He’ll be back for the sequel, and he’s joined by a star-studded cast that includes Chidi Mokeme and Big Brother Naija star Phyna.

Lancelot Imasuen, who directed the original film, is also returning for the sequel. This is great news for fans, as Imasuen is known for his ability to create action-packed and suspenseful films.

Not much is known about the plot of the sequel yet, but Dede has hinted that it will be just as exciting as the original. “A RIVER DOES NOT FLOW THROUGH A FOREST WITHOUT BRINGING DOWN TREES,” he said in his Instagram post. “Men with evil minds lurk in the dark. But….. JUSTICE IS MINE.”

Filming for the sequel has already begun, and fans can’t wait to see what Imasuen has in store for them. There’s a lot of pressure on him to make a sequel that lives up to the original, but fans are confident that he can do it.

Of course, with any sequel comes the fear of disappointment. Will “Issakaba: The Return” live up to the legacy of the original? We can’t know for sure yet, but there are reasons to be optimistic. Imasuen is a talented director, and the cast is full of star power. Plus, the story has the potential to be just as relevant and thrilling as ever.

So, let’s give “Issakaba: The Return” a chance. Let’s support Nollywood and celebrate the return of a classic. And who knows, maybe this sequel will create a whole new generation of fans. Just remember, Lancelot, we’re watching you! Don’t you dare ruin this for us!
