Mrs. Ukamaka Ejezie, otherwise known as Mama Biafra, has regained her freedom from the supposed detention by the Director of State Service, -DSS.
News reports had gathered on Sunday from the head counsel to the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, that she had been freed Saturday, 27 August 2022 evening.
Mr. Ejiofor had added that Mrs. Ukamaka was arrested on the 18th day of May 2022 outside the court premises, after the hearing on the Nnamdi Kanu case was finished that day in Abuja.
Ejiofor had reported to news reporters “I am very delighted to inform you all that Mrs. Ukamaka Ejezie aka Mama Biafra has gotten back her freedom. She is now out of the DSS dungeon. Thank thee Chukwuokike Abiama for this huge success. We are not relenting, every prisoner of conscience, including Our indefatigable Client, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, will soon regain their freedom.”
“Us in the legal team, are doing everything legally permissible to make it happen, we are not resting on our oars in the least, we promise you all.” The IPOB head counsel had concluded.
