Joseph Aloba, the father of late Afrobeats artist Mohbad, has come forward with a fresh revelation regarding the circumstances surrounding his son’s death.

In a recent live video, Mr. Aloba disclosed that he spent a staggering N16 million to conduct an autopsy on Mohbad, whose untimely passing in 2023 sparked widespread speculation. At the time, many Nigerians suspected foul play, believing the singer may have been murdered.

To clarify the cause of death, medical experts carried out an autopsy. The initial findings pointed toward a possible fatal anaphylactic reaction, likely due to drug-related complications. However, this explanation did little to dispel public suspicion, and debates have continued across social media.

Mr. Aloba’s revelation about the cost of the autopsy has stirred fresh reactions online, with many questioning the transparency and outcome of the investigation into the singer’s death.
