Natasha Osawaru, the wife of Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has showered him with love as he clocks 50 today, September 18.

Marking the special occasion, the Edo lawmaker took to Instagram to share a cozy picture of them together, where she described the award-winning singer as the love of her life.

Natasha playfully pointed out the irony that despite being two decades older than her, 2Baba still looks younger.

In her touching tribute, she expressed how much joy he has brought into her life, declaring that her happiness feels complete with him by her side. She added that 2025 has been the best year of her life, largely because waking up next to him each morning is a blessing she remains thankful for.

The politician, rumored to be expecting, further promised to dedicate every day of her life to loving and caring for him, affirming her deep affection for the father of seven.

Her message read in part:
“Happy birthday to the love of my life. You are 50! Oh wow! You spaced me with 20 years, yet you look younger than I do… Innocent Ujah Idibia, my husband, words can’t express the joy you’ve brought into my life. My joy is complete with you in it. This year was the best year of my life. Waking up to you every morning is one of the greatest gifts ever, and I thank God for that. Baby, I want to spend each day loving you and caring for you for the rest of my life. I love you. Happy birthday, baby.”

Fans and colleagues have since joined Natasha in celebrating the Afrobeats pioneer as he marks his golden jubilee.
