During an Instagram Live session on July 10, 2024, actress Toyin Abraham addressed the quickly spreading rumors, emphasizing that she did not detain anyone’s mother. She stated that despite her initial decision to remain silent, she felt compelled to speak out against false accusations.

Toyin Abraham clarified that she would never arrest someone’s mother, as she has a mother herself. She insisted that she had committed no crime and was merely exercising her democratic rights. The actress also voiced her deep frustration with the online backlash, expressing extreme distress and her willingness to confront her detractors.

“I came online on social media to beg everybody to leave me the hell alone. As I am, I want to die. I am ready to die, but before I die, a lot of you bullies will die with me. You bullies have pushed me to the wall and I have gone insane. Now I want to die; I wish to die; I did not commit any crimes; I came out to beg you guys and tell you that I did not collect any money from anybody,” she said.

Addressing recent social media claims, actress and movie producer Toyin Abraham emphasized that she did not have anyone arrested; instead, she filed a petition against those who defamed her.

She clarified that, in response to her child being cursed online, she approached the cybercrime department to file a petition. She pointed out that she did not include Anthony in the petition since he only insulted her, which she reciprocated.

Abraham expressed her frustration, stating that individuals were paid to ruin her career and life, but she remains unafraid because she has committed no crimes. She expressed her readiness to die but vowed not to let those who bullied and defamed her go unpunished. It’s noteworthy that Abraham has faced continuous criticism on social media since endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and has warned against insulting or cursing her and her children.
