Doja Cat wrote the song and collaborated with producers Earl on the Beat, Rubin, Jean-Baptiste, and DJ Replay.
This hip hop track, featuring a jazz-influenced beat, skillfully samples Dionne Warwick’s song “Walk On By” (1964).
Burna Boy – City Boys

Nigerian singer Burna Boy introduced “City Boys” on September 22, 2023, as the fifth single from his seventh studio album, I Told Them….
MD$ and Ruuben took charge of its production, and it includes a sample from Jeremih’s February 2009 single, “Birthday Sex.”
“City Boys” earned a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
Jack Harlow – Gang Gang Gang

“Gang Gang Gang” was released by Jack Harlow, the American rapper and music star. The track made its debut on Jack Harlow’s “Jackman,” securing Harlow’s first No. 1 on Top Rap Albums (chart dated May 13). The album takes its title from the rapper’s first name.
Harlow collaborated with singer-songwriter and producer Rashad Thomas in co-writing “Gang Gang Gang.”
Credits are also extended to Timothy Gane and Lætitia Sadier of the avant-pop band Stereolab, as “Gang Gang Gang” samples their 2002 track, “Baby Lulu.”
Bad Bunny – MONACO

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny released “Monaco” on October 13, 2023, as the third single from his fifth solo studio album.
The production of the song carries a hard-hitting trap vibe, incorporating violin and piano melodies from Charles Aznavour’s 1964 song “Hier Encore” (“Just Yesterday”).
The interlude and outro directly sample the French-Armenian singer’s reflection on an old man taking stock of his life.
Drake ft. J. Cole – First Person Shooter

Canadian rapper and singer Drake, featuring American rapper J. Cole, presents “First Person Shooter.”
This track, released on November 15, serves as the fourth single from Drake’s critically acclaimed eighth studio album, For All the Dogs.
“First Person Shooter” features a subtle production that kicks off with a “warped” vocal sample of Joe Washington’s “Look Me in the Eyes.”
Debuting at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, it marked Drake’s thirteenth and Cole’s first number-one song, tying Drake with Michael Jackson for the most number-one singles by a male solo artist.
